The Workplace Bullying Policy outlines Northside Christian College’s commitment to providing a safe, respectful and supportive working environment. Bullying is not tolerated, and all staff share responsibility for upholding professional standards and contributing to a culture of dignity, respect and wellbeing.

Workplace bullying is defined as repeated, unreasonable behaviour that creates a risk to health and safety. The policy clearly distinguishes bullying from reasonable management action carried out fairly, such as performance feedback, workload allocation and disciplinary processes. Staff are encouraged to raise concerns early and seek guidance if unsure.

Concerns may be addressed through informal options, including speaking directly with the person involved, seeking advice from a Contact Officer, or support from the Executive Team. More serious or unresolved matters may proceed to a formal complaint and investigation process. All complaints are handled confidentially, fairly and in line with legal obligations.

Support, including counselling and access to external agencies, is available throughout the process. The policy reinforces that early reporting, respectful communication and adherence to clear procedures protect staff wellbeing and the integrity of the College community.
